The focus was on minimizing the negative consequences of miscommunication by encouraging both relational partners to take responsibility for the interpersonal communication that is yielded from a relationship. The Components of Interpersonal Communication are the Key elements of interpersonal communication that includes the source, receiver, message, channel, noise, feedback, and context. Feedback was important because it gave the ability to look into the problem and settle in a rightful manner. Feedback is the respond to a message (page 10). Communication was experience at once because when the issue occurred, we looked into it and settled it right there. The context of the conversation took place at our church. We gathered at the church the next day to finalize when we could meet again. The sources of internal and external noise were when everyone was speaking on top of their voices trying to make their point. People were upset that they were set up and felt their time wasted. Noise is anything literal or psychological that interfere accurate reception of a message (page 9). The women input some ideas to prevent such situation happening again.
